Papers Past contains more than one million pages of digitised New Zealand newspapers and periodicals, covering the years 1839-1920. It includes 11647 digitised issues of the Taranaki Herald (from 4 August 1852 to 31 December 1909) which can be viewed either in screen-optimised or in its original format.
