In 2008 Y7/Y8 students from Devon Intermediate carried out survey work throughout Pukekura Parks lakes and ponds. Using nets they searched for tadpoles and listened for frogs during the day and night from June to the end of November. This video shows one of the students Nick talking about the mystery of the parks tadpoles. The students discovered the first tadpoles to appear on the 6th of September. What a relief!
